BCMP SCIENCE NEWS:
1) Congratulations to DR. TOM ELLENBERGER on the recent
publication of the book DNA Repair and Mutagenesis: Second Edition,
which he co-authored. It is published by ASM Press.
2) DR. STEPHEN HARRISON and DR. KEVIN STRUHL have each been
selected this year as Harvard American Association for the Advancement
of Science (AAAS) fellows.
3) DR. LIZZY KAPPEN in the Goldberg lab was honored on November 12
by the Indian American Kerala Cultural and Civic Center for her
outstanding achievements in health sciences.
4) DR. CHARLES RICHARDSON has been selected to receive the 2006
Herbert Tabor/Journal of Biological Chemistry Lectureship Award.
5) DR. DAVID GOLAN is the recipient of the 2005 Alpha Omega Alpha
Robert J. Glaser Distinguished Teacher Award. He is only the second
Harvard winner in the award’s ten-year existence.
